**Role**:
The People and Capability team strives to provide world-class support for managers and employees. We support the achievement of EMBER’s business objectives through contribution to the development and implementation of:
Bold Horizon, our ten-year strategy, the People Strategy, and Ember business plan

Change Management processes and initiatives

Strategies and processes which support EMBER’s values and enhance employee commitment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
To provide best practice operational People and Capability advice and guidance for managers and employees.

To provide a high quality and responsive People and Capability service to recruitment and selection, remuneration and reward analysis, performance management and development, and employee relations.

To ensure EMBER’s People and Capability practices comply with the appropriate policies, procedures, and current employment legislation.

To support thePeople & Capability Manager in the development and implementation of all HR policies affecting EMBER.

To assist in the implementation of the future People and Capability needs of EMBER in conjunction with the People & Capability Manager

To contribute to a culture of service excellence throughout EMBER.

**You will**:

- Have an HR related tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience
- Enjoy working in a team environment and from a bicultural perspective.
- Be professional with a high moral compass and attention to detail
- Preferably have experience working in mental health and/or addictions (alcohol and other drugs)
- Full NZ Drivers Licence
- Be New Zealand Citizen, Resident or hold a valid/current work visaHave a passion for walking along side those in need, supporting on-going goals on the pathway to recovery.
