We are looking for two or more dedicated kitchenhands to assist our busy kitchen to prepare high-quality meals to meet the food health and safety regulations and our kitchen standards.
**Job Summary**:The responsibilities include following owner/manager instructions relating to the timely preparation of food orders, organizing workstations, and assisting the owner/manager as needed.
**Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Helping the owner to make Sandwiches
- Preparing ingredients for pie filling
- Cooking breakfast, making toasts, and heating simple food items
- Cleaning pie trays, cooking and general utensils in the kitchen
- Ensuring kitchen and workstation are clean after preparing meals
- Transferring, weighing, and checking food supplies and equipment
- Assisting owner/baker to make some cakes
- Removing rubbish and ensuring workplace meet food health and safety regulations
- Packing food for serving and knowing how to fry hot foods
**Qualification/Work experience**:
- At least a secondary school qualification is required
- Ideally someone with a level of qualification or some work experience in the kitchen is preferable but not necessary
- We are able to provide training to people with the right attitude, hardworking and passion in the food industry

- Able to follow instructions
- Personally fit as it may involve lifting heavy ingredients and being able to stand for a long period of time
The pay would be $25 /per hour to $30/ per hour depending on your skill level and work experience.
