Junior Machinist

Junior Operator/Apprentice Junior Machinistis the primary backup person in our machine/planing department.This person works with the head machinist on the setup, operation of the planer and takes a secondary role in the operation of the planing department. You will be expected to learn setup or machines, care and maintenence and over time the neccessary skills to operate without supervision.

1. This role is ideal for a person who would like pursue a career in machining timber

2. MacDirect will support youwith education towards a career in timber profiling and proicessing.

You will be interested in machining as a career and be interested in timber profiling.

This role is full-time and requires a punctual and commited person.
