**Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**:
The Facilities and Workplace Coordinator is responsible for providing professional, customer-focused support services to MBIE staff and the public. You will provide effective facilities management support in the Facilities Team.
Reporting to the Facilities and Workplace Team Leader further duties include:
- Delivery of reception services with a strong customer service focus.
- Managing and supporting general administration duties.
- Organising building maintenance and security access.
- Logging and managing of jobs through the Facilities Management software.
- Building strong relationships with premises occupants and external subcontractors.

- Demonstrated experience in a customer service role providing support to individuals and teams.
- Proven facilities and/or administrative experience.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of people.
- Can do attitude and a high level of initiative and discretion.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to prioritise work to achieve MBIE outcomes
- Proactive and assured customer service skills gained from working in front facing customer-centric roles, balancing both incoming calls and visitors who need your care and attention
- Good verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
