We seek a Kitchenhand to join our dynamic and bustling team in Whanganui. This opportunity offers a full-time role, with a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week.
**Role Description**: As a Kitchenhand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of our kitchen. Your daily responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Diligently cleaning dishes, kitchen areas, and utensils in strict adherence to our comprehensive cleaning and infection control procedures.
- Assisting with basic meat and vegetable preparation, ensuring ingredients are properly sorted and ready for cooking.
- Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation within the kitchen environment.
- Creating a tidy and safe working area, promoting a positive and efficient workspace.
- Keeping track of food and equipment inventories, ensuring adequate supplies are available.
- Assisting the Chef in preparing and cooking simple food items, frying, cutting, and heating as necessary.
- At least 6 months work experience in a similar business environment
- The ability to excel in high-pressure situations, maintaining composure and effectiveness.

- Good physical fitness levels to meet the demands of the role.
