Bakery Specialist

As a Bakery Specialist, you’ll be required to coach and mentor bakery managers to promote excellence in category performance and deliver growth in store.

**About the role**

Using robust planning and financial data, you’ll identify and realise opportunities and put innovation into practice to achieve retail excellence. In your cluster of stores, you’ll have a travel cycle that allows you to support the in-store bakery with training and development of managers, health and safety issue resolution, implementation of strategy and projects and continuous improvement of processes.

You will look after the South Auckland, Hamilton and Bay of Plenty regions.

**About you**

With a passion for fresh food and the complexity of fresh retailing, you’ll have run a bakery, will be a qualified baker or will have a solid understanding of scratch baking. Good commercial acumen, an understanding of retail and a knack for finding solutions will set you up for success. Confident building relationships, you’ll have strong communication skills, good time management and will be comfortable working autonomously.
