By putting the customer first The Warehouse succeeds in being one of the best retailers in New Zealand and our friendly, helpful Team Members help keep our customers shopping with us.

Job Description

As a valued member of Shopfloor team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers have a memorable shopping experience.

You will thrive in our fast-paced environment and have a strong work ethic to get the job done on time without compromising service standards. You understand that success is a team effort, whether it's collecting trolleys from the car park, restocking shelves, cleaning areas of the store, ticketing products, or providing excellent customer service.

This store contains an online fulfillment function, so you will also ensure online orders are efficiently picked from the shelves and packed and ensure that the picking shelf processes are followed correctly to maximize shelf availability.

This is a permanent part-time position working the following hours:

- Thursday - 9:30am - 6pm
- Friday - 9:30am
- 6pm
- Saturday - 9:30am - 6pm

Qualifications

Ideally you will have:

- Some experience in retail, hospitality or a customer facing role - preferable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive, can-do attitude
- The ability to undertake some heavy lifting, climbing ladders and being on your feet for long periods of time
