We have an exciting full-time permanent opportunity for a commercially savvy professional to provide financial leadership, support, and guidance to shape financial planning for the Ministry of Health (MoH) contract delivery team across our Health, Environment and Forensic business groups.
Reporting to the Strategic Relationships Director, you will sit within our Health business group and have a dotted reporting line to our Chief Financial Officer. This opportunity will see you engage proactively and work collaboratively with our Finance team and senior leadership teams to provide accurate, high quality strategic financial advice. In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Providing financial analysis of MoH contract service changes, including financial modelling and cost benefit analysis.
- Overseeing revenue and cost management systems to facilitate strategic analysis and decision making.
- Delivering management accounting processes and reporting which includes the budget and forecast process; quarterly actuals and reports; and financial modelling in support of contract negotiations.

Please note the official position title is Financial Analyst.
Kia angitu koe | About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a mix of the following:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or similar discipline.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen and financial/accounting experience in a range of organisational sizes and types.
- Strong financial modelling skills in MS Excel, with demonstrable expertise to think strategically about different scenarios.
- Well-developed financial and analysis capability - able to gather relevant information and identify problems and risks; relating and comparing data from different sources; identifying cause and effect relationships.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across a range of stakeholder groups.
- Knowledge of a Financial ERP system including budgeting and reporting tools.
- A consultative team-based approach, where you can convey information both within a team environment, and cross functionally in the organisation.
- Excellent organisational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
