As the Nurse Practitioner you will join Te Uru Rauhī during
**an exciting time of change** for our Mental Health and Addiction service. Mental Health and Addictions Services are moving towards a wellness and recovery-focused approach that encourages interconnectedness socially, spiritually, physically, and environmentally and encompasses the aspirations to achieve ‘WAIORA’ flourishing individuals, whānau, and communities. Te Mātāpuna o Te Ora, the source of wellbeing, is our shared vision of improving health outcomes and achieving wellbeing for people experiencing mental health and addiction issues across their lifespan.
- registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Nurse Practitioner
- highly developed patient assessment skills
- proven leadership skills
- proven abilities in influencing and relationship building in a way that encourages strength, diversity, and kotahitanga (unity) within the team
- commitment to the bicultural practice framework
- quality improvement experience
- excellent communication skills across a variety of mediums
