Our products don't just serve ads or stream movies - they underpin our economy and touch people's lives. **Your new role** As a Software Specialist in the Remediation & Wealth Tribe, you'll be part of our Tech Wealth squad that supports the systems that run our Wealth services, including KiwiSaver. We triage, problem-solve, enhance and maintain the systems and the processes they support. You'll have the opportunity to get hands-on with some interesting and complex pieces of work that integrate on an enterprise scale, all while being part of a smaller squad that makes their own decisions about how to work through prioritisation - so your voice will be heard, and your opinions valued. Being part of the Engineering Practice at ASB we encourage our teams to work autonomously in an agile way while actively growing their skills and expertise to continuously improve outcomes for our customers. We advocate agile, fully cross functional teams which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day. We are looking for a mix of technical skills to support the following activities: - Reviewing requirements and specifications - Coming up with agile testing strategies and plans - Verifying and validating functionality being developed - Writing automated tests - Analysing and reporting test results - Working with key stakeholders for testing end to end **About you** You will build up knowledge of the Managed Funds products, especially KiwiSaver, and become a go-to person for building and maintaining the Automation framework for the team. We are looking for an individual that will take ownership of our quality, drive continuous change for the squad and customers to ensure we are delivering best possible outcomes. You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of Testing and deliver products that delight our customers. We are looking for someone who has: - 10+ years of test engineering experience with both Manual and Test Automation experience - Proven knowledge across functional, system, integration, and end to end testing - Produce/contribute/maintain test artefacts including complex cross system E2E scenarios - Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases - API testing experience using Postman or similar tool - Good knowledge of performance testing using LoadRunner or Jmeter - Good understanding and experience of working using Agile principles In addition, any of the following would be an advantage: - Sonata (or Talisman) experience - Financial/Banking/Insurance domain experience - Web or API Test automation experience with C# - Certified in ISTQB Fundamentals **What you need to do now** If this job isn't quite right for you but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career. #2731249
