**About the Role**

MidCentral District provides an excellent grounding for Registrars looking to grow and develop their skills. There is a 14-bed neonatal unit which caters for babies from 28 weeks or 1000gms. The Children's Ward sees a wide range of admission. Registrars participate in a range of ward, neonatal and clinic work. Tertiary support is available from Starship and includes outpatient clinics from visiting SMOs from Starship.

MidCentral District is accredited for all 3 years of basic training and 1 year of advanced training.

- Completed PGY2 or equivalent.
- Keen interest in Paediatrics.
