**About the role**:
Medacs Healthcare are seeking **Enrolled Nurses** and **Registered Nurses** for a women's correctional facility based in South Auckland. You will be working at the quarantine wing in Women's facility and will be expected to develop and maintain respectful and professional relationships with a focus on the patients.

You will provide primary health care to the residents who seek medical assistance and you will be working alongside other health professionals and Registered Nurses ensuring you are always in a safe and professional environment.

For this role, we will need you to start **ASAP for a minimum of 3 months**. Shift times are 0800-1830 Monday-Sunday, a paid orientation will be provided, and staff parking is available on site.

**Essential Requirements**:

- As an Enrolled Nurse, you would require both a valid APC as well as previous experience._
- Evidence of your qualification
- Ability to obtain x2 clinical references from two senior referees whom you have worked with in the last 2 years to verify your experience
- A minimum of 6 months Enrolled Nursing experience
- CPR or First aid training
- Occupational health screenings
- Strong and professional work ethic is a must
- Excellent time management skills so to cope with conflicting deadlines in a pressured environment
- Confident, friendly and patient focussed
- Personable and presentable
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solver - ability to come up with solutions and use initiative

**Daily Shift Responsibilities may include**:

- Health checks
- Patient Observations
- Monitoring change to patient conditions including COVID related questions
- Swabbing
- Paperwork/Record Keeping
- Submitting results and completing follow ups
