**About the Role**

As a Medical Specialist in the Stem Cell Transplant team, you will provide high-level clinical care to patients undergoing autologous and allogeneic transplants. Your responsibilities will include patient assessment, multidisciplinary care planning, post-transplant follow-up, and contributing to research and quality improvement initiatives.

You - ll play an integral role in the delivery of a highly specialised service that changes lives and provides real impact. The role offers an ideal mix of hands-on patient care, academic involvement, and service development.

**About the Team / Service / Location**

Our Christchurch-based Haematology Service is a regional centre for stem cell transplant and advanced haematological care. You - ll be working alongside a passionate and experienced team of haematologists, transplant coordinators, nurses, and support staff.

**About You**

You - ll bring a strong background in haematology and a commitment to delivering equitable, patient-centred care. You will thrive in a collaborative environment and bring curiosity, compassion, and clinical excellence to your work.
- Vocational registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Council of New Zealand in Internal Medicine - Haematology
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent
- Experience in stem cell transplantation (autologous and/or allogeneic)
