**He angitūtanga | The opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Cataloguing and Metadata Librarian to join our team to take a leading role in overseeing cataloguing processes. You'll ensure the accuracy of bibliographic records and uphold library standards, while providing expert guidance to staff and enhancing library operations through cataloguing, authority control, and collaboration with SMART libraries.

This dynamic role also includes front-of-house responsibilities, where you'll assist customers with library technologies and work to consistently elevate the user experience. Salary range for this role is SP10 Grade 13 - $67,054-$78,887.

**He kōrero mōu | About you**:

- A New Zealand recognised professional library qualification.
- Strong demonstrable knowledge of and experience in the use of relevant international cataloguing and classification standards such as but not limited to RDA, MARC, Ngā Upoko Tukutuku, LOC Names and Subject Headings and the Dewey Decimal Classification System.
- Proven experience with integrated library systems, online public access catalogues and bibliographic utilities.
- Proven ability to work independently as a constructive and flexible team member.
- Consistent accuracy and attention to detail.
