We are looking for a talented and experienced baker with a passion and enthusiasm for producing high quality bakery items. The role offered is a permanent and full-time.

- At least 1 year of work experience as a baker at a bakery or café or qualification
- Knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Safety (NZQA 167 & 168) would be great but not essential
- Proficient in bakery product preparations, weighing, scaling, dividing, mixing and shaping etc
- Must be a team player who is willing to cooperate with others.
- Be able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
- Be reliable, punctual, and hard-working.
- Be able to communicate effectively.
- Be physically fit.

Your main responsibilities include:

- Daily production of a wide range of muffin’s, cake’s, slices cookies and other pastry goods.
- Preparing pastry fillings
- Decorating breads, cakes, and other pastry goods.
- Ensuring both the kitchen and equipment comply with relevant safety and hygiene requirements.
