Asbestos Surveyor

You'll work closely with the Ministry of Education clients across the top half of the North Island. A lot of traveling is required for this role. You could be based in Auckland or Hamilton. Our client provides a comprehensive range of facilities management from small repair work to managing large-scale facilities and infrastructure networks. They work across various industries and often provide essential services to help keep businesses moving and critical infrastructure working. Delivering reactive and preventative planned maintenance and delivering value-added maintenance to facility portfolio.

An organisation with extensive experience in mobilising contracts and assuming responsibility for service arrangements in a seamless way that minimises disruption to customer operations.

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be a key part of the Ministry of Education contract to ensure all risk management parameters have been met.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Visiting schools and liaising with the building manager to assess the Asbestos presence
- Travelling from the Mid-North Island to the Top of the North Island
- Conducting Asbestos Survey and providing a thorough report
- Assisting in preparing an effective risk management plan
- Representing the company in a professional manner

To be successful in this role:

- A recent IP402 qualification or working towards gaining one
- NZ Full Class 1 Drivers License
- Willingness to travel out of town for most of the time
- Be a team player
- Be flexible around the start and finish time
