**About the Role**
We are looking for a highly competent and experienced **Logistics Cordinator** to be based in **Milton, Otago**. You will be involved in managing distribution operations for our Construction and Manufacturing Teams that are located throughout the South Island.
Reporting to our Plant and Logistics Manager, you will be a vital member of our small Plant and Logistics team. The role includes ongoing coordination with our Construction and Manufacturing Teams to ensure materials and equipment are delivered safely to site and on time. You will organise and help manage our fleet of line haul vehicles and have a hands-on understanding of all aspects of distribution loading and scheduling, logistics reporting, and freight tracking.

We are looking for the following skills and attributes:
- Extensive experience in distribution management and logistics, and a high level of safety awareness
- An in-depth understanding of all NZTA regulations and loading codes
- Previous experience with the transportation of precast or structural steel cartage is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Knowledge of the construction industry is highly desirable
- Proven team leadership, organisational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritise work effectively
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of people
- Proficient user of software systems, such as; Outlook, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, together with an interest in further developing your computer skills
