**The role**

Based in Hawkes Bay, you will have responsibility for your region, which will be to attend customer sites to install, service and maintain fire protection equipment including hose reels, extinguishers, fire doors, access and egress paths and other related products.

This will include:

- Servicing portable fire equipment on our customer premises and recommending portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment to comply with specific New Zealand Standards
- Providing excellent Customer service and advice to our clients on site
- Using power tools to install and repair portable fire equipment such as extinguishers, hose reels, fire doors and access and egress paths and blankets

**To be successful**

Whilst previous experience in the Fire industry is preferred it is not essential as you will receive all the training required to perform your role at a high standard. If you have a service mindset and enjoy customer interaction you can achieve the outcomes you and our company desire.

**You will need the following**:

- A current Drivers Licence
- A current construction industry card (or the ability to obtain one)
- Cert 2 in Fire Equipment Inspection / Testing or similar (or the ability to obtain one)
- Some experience in a similar role where you are responsible for basic maintenance and / or mobile service delivery is desirable
- An appreciation of excellent customer service and the ability to communicate with clients on site
- Good time management and organizational skills
- The ability to work away from home when required
