We are seeking a full-time store manager to oversee garage operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established automotive garage in North Shore, Auckland. Immediate start.

In order to be considered, you are required to:

- have at least 3 years of relevant work experience or a relevant qualification at least in Diploma level
- excellent English communication skills
- be available to work on holidays and weekends
- provide two work reference and pass police and drug test

The main duties are to:

- Provide overall direction and management of the business
- Oversee the services provided in store and introduce automotive services to ensure the business remains highly competitive if necessary
- Maintain excellent quality of service by ensuring the maintenance of customer service, store presentation and service quality
- Ensure appropriate staff trainings are up to date
- Control the business running cost and avoid going over budget
- Recruit, select, hire and train the staff you want to work with and motivate them
- Actively promoting the store
- Maintain positive staff morale
- Manage staff roster, control wage costs and review staff performance
- Organize the supply and maintenance of the product stock
- Develop and review policies and practice procedures for the business
- Promote and market services to potential customers;
- Assist with GST, PAYE related paperwork for accounting purpose and managing other daily business concerned financial transactions;
- Be responsible for the financial performance of the store;
- Observe health and other laws and regulations, including ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
