2 Part time Positions (13 - 16 hours per week during term time)

We need you to help us deliver the best food service experience in the industry At Southland Boys’ High School’s Coldstream Hostel our team caters for approximately 120 students who board during the school week, as well as regular school functions throughout the year. Our aim is to provide a home away from home with a delicious meal service that supports health and wellbeing and provides the fuel needed for success.

We currently have two part time positions working during school terms only - perfect opportunities for those seeking work/life balance with set shifts to fit around their other commitments.

Position A: Monday to Thursday (4pm - 8pm)

Position B: Monday (1.15pm - 3.15pm) and Monday to Thursday (5.45pm - 8.30pm)

What you’ll do:

- ensure the kitchen is safe and hazard free by doing dishes, removing rubbish, and cleaning.
- assist with service and clearing away afterwards.
- support the chef with some basic food preparation.
- top up supplies, help to keep the kitchen running smoothly, and left clean and tidy at the end of shift.

- able to work safely in an industrial kitchen with large hot pots and trays.
- able to take initiative and be comfortable to work unsupervised when required.
