**We are looking for a reliable delivery driver who is experienced at transporting food and drink items in a safe and timely manner. You will be required to pick up and drop off food and drink delivery items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should also ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client.**

**To succeed as a delivery driver, you should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our clients with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying clients. Also be efficient, friendly, and service-oriented.**

**Job tasks and responsibilities will include**:

- ** Checking orders before delivery to ensure that the orders are correct and that charges are accurate.**
- ** Transporting items to customers at their desired locations in a timely manner.**
- ** Adhering to assigned routes or most efficient routes and following time schedules.**
- ** Managing cash and card payments upon delivery, as needed.**
- ** Adhering to road and traffic regulations.**
- ** Remaining up to date with the restaurants promotions, and informing customers of these accordingly.**
- ** Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.**

**About the Job**:

- ** The location of the job will be in Auckland**
- ** You will be paid $27.76 per hour**
- ** This will be a fixed full-time position of 30 - 40 hours per week.**
- ** You will be reporting to the Restaurant Manager and/or Store Owner**

**About You**:

- ** Be well presented**
- ** Sincere and punctual**
- ** Good communication skills**
- ** Must be flexible to work different shifts**
- ** May need to pass a drug test and have a clean criminal record.**
- ** Ability to professionally address customer complaints.**
- ** Skilled and experienced driver who follows road and traffic rules**

**Requirements and skills**:

- ** Level 1 Certificate qualification**
- ** At least one year of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification**
- ** Valid NZ Full drivers license or Valid Overseas Driving License**
- ** Friendly, service-oriented personality.**
- ** Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.**
- ** Prior experience in a similar position will be advantageous.**
- ** Able to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays, as needed.
