**Chinese Cooks Wanted**

We are a well-established popular Chinese restaurant based in Queenstown. To enhance our team, we are now looking for three Chinese Cooks to join our team. We are expecting someone who has a passion for food, attention to details, ability to multi tasks and be a proactive member of the team.

The hourly pay rate is between $27.76-$28.50 depending on your personal experience and skills. The position is permanent and full-time (guaranteed minimum 35 hours/per week, Monday to Sunday). The location of work will be in Queenstown.

**You are required to**:

- Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Checking ingredients to make sure the quality and freshness
- Preparing and Cooking Chinese food in various utensils and grillers
- Seasoning, portioning, adding sauces to the food during/after cooking
- Preparing food to meet client’s taste and dietary needs
- Arrange food on plates or wrap it to be taken away
- Storing and reserving food
- Assisting in planning menus, estimating food and labour costs
- Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
- Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of machines before each run, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assisting with Training and coordinating with junior cooks or kitchen hands, completing projects requested by Executive Chinese Chef
