We need to ensure we can best leverage our new technologies within **valuable customer focused solutions** while working on the next stage of evaluation and rollout of additional technologies, solutions and automation to continue acceleration of growth.

We need people who can really look at a business strategy and operating model(s), talk to colleagues at all levels in plain language yet converse at depth with **technology, architecture**, change and ops experts. Execution capability matters. As an experienced **Enterprise Solution Architect**, you should understand **engineering** **development** and **leadership** in **newer technologie**s that emerge over the next few years This supports making **innovation** happen and the ability to improve adoption of great architectural thinking and help others turn it into reality

**Skills**
- Analyse and align business strategy and operating models with technology solutions through business capability modelling applied through solution roadmapping, domain driven design in packaged business capability domains and stakeholder collaboration.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels in plain language, while engaging in-depth conversations with technology, architecture, change, and operations experts.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of engineering development and leadership in emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve the adoption of sound architectural thinking.

- Excellent deep & wide technology expertise in more than one architectural domain
- Understanding of technology from a capability perspective with a view to rationalise and simplify
- Embrace the new realms of machine learning (Generative AI, Quantum) and shifts in how this will affect business models, Stuff, our data and how that flows through our consumer propositions and business activities.
- Experience delivering on innovation, with an owners/startup mindset to growth and growing customers
- Convert the strategic intent of the domains into enterprise considerations, help shape the thoughts and strategy to align with current or to be technical capability.
- Communicate the value of architecture within the domains, creating a narrative that builds better understanding and use of technology at a higher value point following the outcomes.

**People**
- Experience with the interactions between people, processes and technology and information
- Fluent in financials and commercial topics and able to create linkages between business and technology and have a sound commercial approach to identifying solutions
- Take a holistic view of the organisation and its technology needs across clouds and on-prem, internal workforce capabilities and vendor relationships
- Can speak in business language for organisational stakeholders and technical implementation and design language for technical stakeholders
