**About the Role**

Te Whānau o Waipareira Trust is searching for a new kaimahi to join the Wai-Rehua (Funding & Contracting) Team as a 'Contracts & Partnerships Lead'. This an exciting fulltime opportunity, navigating the strategic space of a kaupapa Māori organisation.

In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of strategic development, business planning, and best practices aligned to funding procurement, contract performance, and ultimately service delivery across multiple departments. You will have a hand in all facets of this mahi, from the initial planning and development phase, all the way up to RFP writing and the monitoring of contract deliverables. This role will also:

- Create strong relationships with funders across different industries.
- Actively participate in hui and gather information for reportage.
- Work with internal kaimahi to ensure organisational needs are met.
- Produce professional written content articulating value proposition.
- Collate/analyze contract data to ensure compliance across contracts.

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Strong commitment to Te Reo me ōna tikanga.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Communications, or similar.
- Prior experience working for the advancement of Māori.
- Confident communicator in English and ideally Te Reo Māori.
- Excellent writing, reporting, organizing, and planning skillset.
- Knowledge of fundraising services, policies, and procedures.
- Team player, capable of working across multiple teams/cultures.
