**About the role**

We are seeking a Ministerial Servicing Advisor to support the Authority to engage with our Minister’s Office. You will be part of the International and Regulatory Strategy Team, but will work across a wide range of functions providing support where it is required.

This is a great role for someone who is comfortable engaging with senior leadership and technical experts and is confident to jump in and help out where required. You will be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.

**What You’ll Bring**

Reporting to the Principal Policy Advisor, we are keen to hear from Advisors who** **have proven experience working across the full ministerial servicing role within the New Zealand Government. You will have political nous and a strong understanding of the machinery of government.

To be successful in this role you’ll bring experience in:

- drafting ministerial correspondence,
- drafting briefings and other advice for the Minister,
- supporting ministerial meetings with aide memoirs and other briefings,
- co-ordinating and responding to OIA requests,
- co-ordinating and responding to Select Committee questions,
- supporting initiatives to improve our engagement with the Minister’s Office,
- providing general support as required such as co-ordination, reporting, minute taking, supporting media queries.

Key to this role is reliability and understanding the importance of meeting commitments and deadlines. You will have an eye for efficiency and be looking for the most effective and efficient way to get things done.
