Wood Prep

We seek an operator for a 3 month fixed term driving role in Wood Prep. Below are the skills and knowledge requirements.

**Qualifications and Knowledge Requirements**:

- Must have Class 2 licence plus W endorsement. Experience essential with driving in an industrial environment.
- High level of physical fitness, with the ability to work in a variety of conditions (height, heat, confined space, wet and cold conditions)
- Communication skills both written and oral, can report on progress of work both orally and in writing.
- An ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Able to give an example and explain where they have been working as effective team member.
- Has proven experience of successfully taking on new roles or skills.
- An ability to plan and prioritise work.
- Can demonstrate and understands what due care of machinery is
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills, with good housekeeping ethics and the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Competently use CB and RT radios

**The required skills, qualifications and experience are**:

- Can demonstrate knowledge of previous experience operating heavy, mobile machinery in uneven and unstable terrain e.g. Forest harvesting quarrying or similar within the last 36 months.
- Production work experience in the solid wood processing industry.
- Knowledge of health and safety processes including hazard ID
