4 Square Putaruru is a brand-new 4 Square The store will offer barista made coffee, a great food-to-go selection, all the everyday essentials and fresh faves that our guests could want, and all while providing the local service that 4 Square is famous for. We’ll be a small, passionate team with a dedication to providing the best shopping experience for the Putaruru community.

With our official opening set for November 2024, we are seeking Supermarket Assistants to join our new team. You’ll be working alongside an experienced team and Owner Operators to help deliver a shopping experience that is second to none.
- Part-time & Full-Time opportunities available (_6am - 3:00pm OR _12:00pm - 8:00pm OR _4:00pm - 8:00pm)_

**What we’re looking for**:

- Flexibility and willingness to learn all aspects of the store
- Friendly and chatty - can communicate at all levels
- Motivated and reliable - honest with a good work ethic
- Likes variety - coffee making, merchandising, checkouts etc
- Ability to treat our customers like gold, just like they deserve

**About the role**

As a member of our team, you will learn all the aspects of the business and won't be restricted to just one role. This is a customer-facing role where you will have regular interactions with our customers - whether it’s helping them find an item or just having a chat about their day - you’ll ensure the best customer experience

We work hard and at a fast pace to provide a high level of customer service and ensure a consistently fresh & appealing shopping experience for guests. This includes moving heavy boxes, cleaning, restocking shelves, baking and checkout work along with other duties.

Everyone carries the load, including the owner of the store - there are no egos here. We are a pretty down to earth bunch who like a bit of banter and treat each other with respect.
