We’re looking for a **Checkout Operator **to join our **Countdown Bridge Street **team

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**
- Face to face customer service at checkouts
- Manage cash and EFTPOS payments
- Help our customers by being knowledgeable about our products and services in our store
- Help us stick to the rules around the sale of age restricted goods, such as tobacco and alcohol
- Assist customers through our self-service checkouts

**In this customer-focused role we are looking for our new team member that**
- Understands good customer service.
- Help us make customer first decisions aligned to our processes and systems
- Work well within our team and communicate effectively
- A willingness to work on your feet for the duration of your shift
- A friendly smile and welcoming attitude

**The shifts times and days for this opportunity are:
**Wednesday, Thursday 1200-2130, Friday 0900-1830 and Sunday 1030-2000
