Full Time Compliance Supervisor

**We are looking for a Compliance Supervisor to lead safety in food as well as health & wellbeing. The role is 40 hours per week - working roster to be discussed with successful applicant.**

As the Compliance Supervisor the two main focuses of your role are, to deliver a safe place for our team members to work and customers to shop in. Providing safe food for sale and consumption by managing our food safety system to its required standards.

**The Role**:

- Manage the effective implementation and day to day running of the approved food safety plan for the supermarket.
- Work with department managers to inform, train, manage and review required food safety outcomes.
- Organise and provide relevant food safety training
- Manage any food safety related customer complaints.
- Manage any foods safety product recalls through appropriate system.
- Oversee the effective implementation and day to day running of our Health & Safety plan for the supermarket.
- Work with department managers to inform, train, manage and review required health & safety outcomes.
- Actively promote and develop workplace health & safety culture with our team members.
- Organise and chair the Working Safety Group for the supermarket.
- Organise and provide relevant health & safety training.
- Review/investigate all workplace health & safety incidents.
- Manage building warrant of fitness requirements.

**What are we looking for?**
- Relevant food safety system management experience in a supermarket or food production facility - essential
- Relevant health & safety system management in a business environment - essential
- A confident person with an eye for detail and system management.
- An effective member of the management team of the store. A fantastic attitude, work ethic and a passion for making a workplace great.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and good people management skills.
- Able to build good relationships with managers, team members and other stakeholders.
