A **permanent part time** opportunity has become available for an experienced Cook at our Allen Bryant Facility in Hokitika.

You will be responsible for assisting with cooking in our on-site, commercial kitchen and ensure that all nutritional requirements are met.

**About the Role**:

- **Permanent part time - Fridays and Saturdays**
- You will be providing nutritious and attractive meals to our residents.
- Menu is on a 4 week rotation.
- Ensuring excellent food hygiene practice at all times
- Work unsupervised and cope with a busy environment
- Cleaning up food preparation areas and kitchens
- Operating the dishwasher
- Handling food deliveries

**About You**:

- Savvy knowledge of food prep and safety
- Knowledge of food safety standards (167/168)
- Food Handling certificate required or support to work towards.
- Experience in a commercial setting
- Dedicated and reliable
- Caring nature and passionate about working with the elderly
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
