**Ko te tūranga mahi | About the role**
As a Trustee, you will have a unique opportunity to care for New Zealanders by helping them protect their families and their future. You will join a team of 200 across New Zealand, providing advice and guidance on Estate management, Wills, Enduring Power of Attorneys, Personal Assistance, and Trusts. As a key member of our Retail team, you will:
- Ensure customers receive exceptional service during estate planning conversations, identifying key needs, and offering solutions.
- Maintain accurate customer information and protect sensitive data.
- Conduct Wills and Enduring Power of Attorney interviews for straightforward cases.
- Maintain regular contact with customers and ensure all activities are appropriately recorded.
- Offer outstanding customer service, build trust, and resolve complaints with the customers' best interests at heart.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by role modelling Public Trust's values and supporting the customer centre in reaching its goals.
- Provide front-of-house support and undertake general office administration on a rostered basis.
**Ko wai koe | About you**
You are passionate about creating amazing customer experiences, with a positive attitude, empathy, and resilience. You excel at building rapport, listening and showing empathy with customers and colleagues.
- Experience in estate administration, either through professional roles or personal experience managing a loved one's estate.
- Interest or experience in working with communities, social services, health organisations, or support services.
- Experience working with customers during significant moments in their lives.
- Ability to work unsupervised, problem-solve, show initiative, and collaborate with colleagues.
- Previous experience in a trustee, legal, or financial services role is a plus, as is an understanding of basic accounting concepts.
