Join a successful NZ wide Planning, Surveying and Engineering consultancy in a pivotal role that will see the Tauranga office grow from infancy to an established supplier under your guardianship.
With the ground work already done; an office, and existing Engineering and Planning team in place, we are looking for a lead in our Surveying vertical of the business that will see substantial growth in the coming years.
In this role we are looking for a Licensed Surveyor who can lead from the front. We will offer you support and guidance and will help create a team around you.
As a leading role in the BOP region, you will be remunerated well and depending on your level of experience will look at a Director or Shareholder role, once your feet under the table.
**In this role you will**:
- Lead and guide junior Surveyors, helping grow and nurture their talent
- Ensure that field and office-based survey work is performed to professional and relevant standards
- Undertake Quality Assurance and complete compliance certifications
- Guide the future of your Surveying team, distributing workloads and forward planning for our Surveying team
**As a Senior position in our business you will require**:
- New Zealand Licensed Cadastral Surveyor status or demonstrable experience as a Surveyor, with strong local connections that will support new business
- Previous experience supporting, guiding, and mentoring junior surveyors
- The ability to influence and sustain relationships with staff, customers and contractors.
