Technical Trainer

Based at our National Head Office in Palmerston North, we have a vacancy for a Technical Trainer to join our team. The Technical Trainer will be part of our dynamic Service Operations Team delivering all levels of automotive technical training for Dealer Service Technicians, Toyota New Zealand (TNZ) employees and other key stakeholders. This role will see you combining your strong technical knowledge with your passion for helping others to grow and develop. The ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing is a must for this role.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Develop and deliver training for technicians which provides all essential information, learnings and in-depth background knowledge
- Revise training materials prior to training courses and update if required
- Create and/or update E-Learning modules for training courses
- Complete training course reports at the completion of courses
- Ensure that the Training Workshop is maintained to a high standard
- Maintain training vehicles

**So what does it take to be successful in this role'**
- Extensive experience (7+ years) within the automotive industry
- A passion for sharing knowledge and information
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Competence with the Microsoft Office Suite. Some knowledge of PP required
- A full clean New Zealand drivers licence
- Ability to travel as required
