Located in Christchurch. An extensive menu with a focus on Indian curries and Tandoor cuisine and Indian Sweets. We are looking for 1 waiting staff.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager and Shift Supervisor, this role is hands-on provide our customers with a fantastic experience from the moment they walk in the door to that final goodbye.

You will already have a strong background (at least 1 year) in the Hospitality sector. Your shifts will be varied, either morning, middle, or afternoon shifts. Also, you are required to work on weekends and public holidays.

As a waiting staff your duties may include:
Provide an excellent level of customer service and drive a customer service culture across the store Setting tables Serving food and beverages Clearing and cleaning tables after customers have eaten Collecting payments Operate Point of sales Cutlery polishing Maintaining cleaning in the dining area Taking orders and coordinating with other restaurant staff.

Skills and experience for the role:
1 year of relevant experience or a relevant qualification.

Free from drug and criminal history.May be required to undergo a criminal check and drug history check.

Good communication skills

Physically fit

Able to provide positive work references.

Able to work weekends, evenings and public holidays

Similar work experience is required.

Pay rate: Between $24 to $26

A minimum of 30 hours of work per week is guaranteed.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
