NZSW is seeking an experienced Hand Section Spring Maker. The successful applicant will require a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in the manufacture of hand fabricated springs including compression, tension, torsion springs also flat springs and wire forms.
**Qualifications**
- You will need to be a team orientated individual able to work with others or on your own.
- A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in the manufacture of compression, tension, torsion springs also flat springs and wire forms.
- To be confidant and skilled in the set up and running of lathes, presses, benders & straighteners, without the requirement of supervision.
- Must be mechanically minded.
- A full understanding and ability to read drawings.
- The ability to use precision measuring equipment, vernier and micrometer.
- Tool room & basic tooling experience an advantage.
- You must have a high attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
**Requirements for all roles include**:
- Checking produced springs to specified requirements
- Read and understanding component drawings.
- Completing all documentation and quality process.
- Loading and unloading raw material from production equipment.
- Adhere to safety procedures.
- Good housekeeping practices.
- Assisting other team members.
