Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is spread across a vast geographical area and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatāne. We serve a population of approximately 259,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff.
He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
We currently have a full time Clinical Unit Administration vacancy within the Perioperative Department at the Whakatāne Hospital.
The successful applicant will have working knowledge of Webpas, MCP, Microsoft Word systems and be familiar with the processes in the preassessment clinic. The role requires the successful applicant to liaise with all other departments as required and to have a focus on customer service, unit administration, environmental safety and cultural safety.

- Ability to work in a changing environment
- An ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Have a National certificate in Business Administration and Computing Level 2 or equivalent qualifications
