Demolition Laborer

**Job Title**: Demolition Labourer

**Location**: Wellington, New Zealand

**Job Type**: Full-Time

As a Demolition Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various physical tasks to assist in the safe and efficient demolition of structures. You will work as part of a team under the supervision of a site manager to ensure that all work is carried out according to safety standards and project specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform manual labour tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist with the demolition of structures, including walls, floors, and roofs
- Sort and remove debris and recyclable materials
- Follow all health and safety regulations and wear appropriate protective gear
- Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time
- Perform site clean-up and ensure the work area is safe and tidy

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in construction or demolition work is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of safe work practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime if needed
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
