This Role is a Part-time contract for 24 months into the South Island Radiology Service Implementation Project. As a member of the South Island Radiology Service Implementation Project team, this role has shared accountability to address the imperative to create a single South Island Radiology service with at least five locations. This involves a reset and redesign of radiology services in a sustainable way to align with changes happening within the health system and as defined within the multi-site specialty provider model approved by executive leadership.

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:
A Regional Radiology Change Coordinator is responsible for the operational delivery of the South Island Radiology transformation implementation plan within the region. They oversee a variety of tasks, such as supporting and coordinating the project team within the programme of work, monitoring progress, risk identification and management, engagement across radiology services and assessment of effectiveness as change is implemented.
This role is a pivotal point in terms of communication with operational and clinical groups and feeding it back into the overall service design and continuous process improvement and change management.

- Radiology operations systems knowledge
- A working knowledge of Radiology Services operationally and clinically.
- Understanding of how Radiology Services fit within health system (tertiary and community)
- An understanding and commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi and its impact on health planning and funding.
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge of the New Zealand health sector.
- Have a qualification that is either clinical, managerial or health related.
- Project and service management experience, with an emphasis on clinical projects or health service development projects.
- The ability to identify health issues and propose development opportunities.
- The ability to influence districts and other key stakeholders, once a mandate has been agreed
- Excellent inter-personal relationship and teamwork skills supported by excellent communication and organisational skills
