A key role in our Product, Quality and Assurance team that supports New Zealand's ongoing confidence in our money by ensuring that banknotes and coins that we supply meet the needs of Aotearoa.Te tūranga - The roleThe Senior Quality Assurance Analyst role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to monitor the performance of our supply chain, our banknotes and coins, and NZ's cash distribution system. As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, you will further the development of robust quality assurance standards, frameworks and processes.In this role you will be working to ensure the quality and authenticity of cash in circulation meets requirements, new banknotes and coin designs meet the needs of New Zealanders, and all cash produced meets our specifications.Please review the position description for this role here. Ō pūkenga - About youTo be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualified in relevant scientific/engineering discipline
- A thorough understanding of quality assurance processes, preferably applied to a relevant manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrable experience in leading scientifically valid investigations and presenting data outputs to decision makers
- An ability to influence and obtain support from key stakeholders to arrive at a desired outcome
- Proven innovation and problem-solving capability in a technical or manufacturing environment
- An all round approach and proven ability to independently manage a diverse program of work
- Proven data interpretation/data analytics skills
- Has overseen or actively contributed to a quality assurance programme in a regulated environment
