Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager

We are looking for a Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) Manager who embodies robust leadership, engagement, and a strategic approach to health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives. This pivotal role is suited to someone who champions high standards, embraces continuous improvement, and supports a risk mitigation culture.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure a Health, Safety and Wellbeing lens in all areas of the organisation.
- Health, safety, and wellbeing risk management planning to ensure all legislative and ACC obligations are met.
- Lead and empower a team of HSW professionals, fostering a high-performing environment of autonomy and innovation within a positive learning culture.
- Spearhead the implementation and enhancement of HSW management systems, risk reporting, and analysis.
- Undertake thorough investigations and generate detailed, actionable reports on incidents.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring HSW principles are integrated and championed throughout the organisation.
- Initiate and lead key projects, HSW promotions, and site visits demonstrating adaptability and a hands-on approach to leadership.

- Exceptional leadership skills with a history of managing dynamic teams.
- A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent level of knowledge.
- Strong project management experience paired with a knack for rolling out complex systems effectively.
- Expertise in conducting detailed investigations and reporting.
- A commitment to fostering a supportive, just culture and continuous improvement in workplace practices.

Salary - _The salary band for this position is $131,300 - $145,889._
