We are Wellington's finest independent, NZ family owned and operated five star hotel, with an excellent central location for work or leisure in the capital. Just steps from the Parliament buildings and the central business district, Bolton Hotel is conveniently close to the best of the city's shops, cafes and restaurants and within walking distance of Wellington's vibrant waterfront.

As a Hotel Porter, primarily you will be helping to facilitate guest services at Bolton Hotel. This includes (but is not limited to) valet parking, assisting with reception duties, helping with guest luggage and food and beverage requests when required.

We may also require you to assist in other departments from time to time. Full training will be provided.

Skills and experience:

- Previous experience in hotel guest service or customer service is preferred but not essential
- A full clean Driver's Licence - preferably be able to drive manual transmission as well as automatic. Must be confident driving and driving our guest vehicles in a responsible, safe manner
- Must be flexible to work morning, afternoon/evening shifts
- Must have flexibility to work a variety of shifts over a seven-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Previous experience in food and beverage service is highly valued
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of personal presentation

This is a part time role, we can guarantee 15 hours per week. Shifts are usually 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm with the occasional mid-shift from time to time. Additional hours may be available during the university holidays etc.
