An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Casual Store Person and join our passionate Stores team at Rotorua and Taupō Hospital.

The stores team sits within the wider Procurement, Supply Chain & Health Technology Management team across Health NZ.

Bring your supply chain experience to an established team delivering materials needed to maintain efficient and effective services within the hospital environment. You will be responsible for:

- Process and deliver requisitions
- Driving and delivery
- Support specific wards with scanning and resupply of stock
- Customer service from the warehouse
- Processes and stocking inwards goods
- Performing stock takes and some administration tasks
- Participating in quality improvement.
- Championing cultural safety

We are a recruiting **1 store person on a casual basis. **When we have store persons on leave or expectantly sick, our Team Lead or Lead Store Person will make contact with you to understand your availability to fill in and tasks for the day. The overall goal is to ensure continuity of our stores team service delivery.

**Mō** koe / About you**

You should be:

- Able to take and ask for expert direction and show a good degree of initiative after a period of training
- Computer/scanner competent
- Have a high level of fitness as lifting is involved
- Honest, courteous and reliable
- Good team player and communicator
- Precise and work to the times and delegations required
- Able to show care in all aspects of the work required
- Mindful of the need for privacy as this is a health setting

You should have:

- A NZ driver’s license and can support delivery of supplies from main stores
- A high level of fitness, as lifting is involved

$57,291 to $63,630 pro-rated to hours worked.
