**About the role**
Duties for this role include the planning and implementation of programme delivery; providing leadership, academic management and support to academic kaimahi (staff); being responsible for the teaching and learning activities of programmes within the allocated geographical area; and ensuring all programmes offered are delivered according to the curriculum guidelines and compliance is monitored following the policies and standards. In In addition, you will be responsible for tracking the milestones of the contractors and ensure they have been met and releasing the milestone report.
**About you**
Applicants must have:
- Bachelor Degree in Education or Management or Commerce
- Certificate in Adult Tertiary Teaching Level 5 and/or proven experience teaching adults,
- Demonstrated experience in staff management and relevant research experience with published and peer reviewed outputs
- A clean, full New Zealand driver’s licence is required
Other skills required for this role include excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent relationship management skills, excellent planning and project/task managements skills along with proven ability to anticipate leadership requirements and provide timely information to support decision making.
The applicant must be fluent in Te Reo Māori and understanding Māori values, culture and tikanga are required.
