An exciting opportunity has become available to join our amazing team in AUT's Te Āhuru Recreation Centre.

We are looking an energetic Recreation Activity Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and delivery support of recreation events in Te Āhuru, our amazing 3 floor recreation facility in central Auckland including our new Esports Arena.

The sense of belonging, friendships and enduring connections created through delivering a support wide range of engaging recreation initiatives that transverse Arts, Cultural and traditional recreational activities is the key role of this position.

We are looking for someone to compliment the current team so having a passion for Esports, entertainment and social media design would be ideal.

To be successful in this role you will be required to have;
- Experience with event delivery and creating diverse and engaging recreation activities
- A sound understanding of recreation administration, promotion including social media creation.
- An outgoing personality with and engaging approach to your work.
- Ability to engage students in creative endeavours.

In this role you will be a key face of Te Ahura and must have a commitment to student wellbeing, enjoy building strong internal and external relationships with a variety of stakeholders, and are committed to excellence in all you undertake.
