**About the Organisation**:

**About the Role**:
The Solutions Architect - Security supports the Director, Architecture & Integration, in providing Security solutions, architecture design and advice to projects and programmes, while ensuring solution design aligns to the technology roadmap and architectural standards. The domain Solutions Architect - Security is responsible for the on-going development of a fit-for-purpose Security domain roadmap in consultation with Architecture and Integration branch leadership teams.

**You will**:

- Have experience in a senior IT engineering role with a focus on security and architecture
- Have designed and implemented solutions with a significant value (over $500,000) and have a demonstrated track record of ingenuity and initiative and improving performance in a cost-effective manner
- Have demonstrated ability to design roadmaps for systems for a three-to-five-year window
- Have significant experience in ICT development and delivery
- Have experience working in a secure environment with multiple networks including top secret (desirable)
- Have proven ability to work independently using sound reasoning and initiative, and collectively within the wider New Zealand Intelligence Community
