**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinetmaker Assistant to join our skilled team at Oak Kitchens Limited. In this role, you will work alongside experienced cabinetmakers to assist in the construction, assembly, and installation of custom cabinetry for residential and commercial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship to learn from industry professionals while developing hands-on skills in the trade.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist cabinet makers in cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing wooden cabinets and furniture.
- Operate woodworking tools such as saws, sanders, drills, and routers.
- Measure and mark wood materials accurately according to specifications.
- Sand, stain, and finish wood surfaces to achieve a polished appearance.
- Transport materials, tools, and finished products to and from the worksite.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
- Follow all safety protocols and use protective equipment when handling machinery.
- Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure precision and durability.
- Support in loading and unloading materials and completed cabinetry for delivery or installation..

**Qualification & Requirements**:

- **Level 1 NZ Qualification or any Qualification in Construction/Building**or at least **6-12 months**in construction or a similar role.

**Job Type**: Fulltime

**Minimum Pay**:$29.66 Per Hour

**Maximum Pay**: $29.66 Per Hour

**Expected Hours**:30-40 Hours

**Will be expected to work weekends occasionally**

**Location**: Auckland, West Auckland

Pay: $29.66 per hour
