**Location**: Gate Pa, Tauranga
**Pay Rate**: $30 - $35 per hour
**Hours of Work**: 30 - 40 hours per week

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience
**OR**:

- Level 3 or higher qualification

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast and brunch items including omelettes, eggs benedict, creamy mushrooms, French toast, and**Big Breakfast
- Execute seasonal dishes such as chorizo hash and pumpkin & haloumi bruschetta
- Prepare sides and accompaniments including potato rosti, sausages, bacon, mushrooms, and hollandaise
- Assemble and serve plated meals with attention to presentation and portion control
- Monitor food quality and ensure consistency across all dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety standards
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and ordering supplies
- Communicate with front-of-house staff to coordinate orders and manage service flow
- Adapt to dietary requests and allergen requirements as per customer needs

- Minimum 6 months of experience
**OR**:

- Level 1 or higher qualification

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist cooks with basic food preparation such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Manage dishwashing and ensure availability of clean crockery and cutlery
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with hygiene standards
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed during service
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth workflow
- Follow health and safety protocols including proper use of PPE
- Report any equipment faults or safety concerns to supervisors
