As the Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of any Food & Beverage outlets at the Hermitage Hotel. This could include either the Café, Alpine Restaurant, Panorama Restaurant or Chamois Bar & Restaurant.
**What will my day look like?**
- Ensuring all facilities and equipment are operated and maintained to a level that meets company and statutory standards and that the future of the company’s capital investment in protected
- Effectively leading any F&B Outlet assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager
- Delegating to the floor team on daily duties and extra tasks along with directly supervising the team so that all tasks are completed correctly
- Engaging with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service and document this on the daily managers’ report
- Planning and constructing all schedules that directly relate to your specific outlet in deputy (Schedule management program). Within a timeline set by the F&B Manager
- To recruit, induct and develop all team members in accordance with company guidelines
- Delivering a high standard of customer service to all internal and external guests and encourages the team to do the same
- Completing daily sales and management reports in line with company policy
- Working closely with senior chefs to ensure cohesion of service
- Making guest reservations, greet guests, and assist with taking orders as required
- Maintaining stock of food and beverage items to ensure continuity of service
- Jumping feet first into the day and helping wherever is needed.
- Ready to assist long hours when required and this may also include being rostered to shift work.
**What do we need from you?**
- While experience within Food and Beverage environment is required, we provide training to ensure you're kept up to speed with our products, services, standards, and expectations
- Qualifications in Hospitality is considered.
- Possess the Four C’s - committed, courageous, capable, and confident

- A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional, with excellent communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable, and able to change with the ever evolving market
