As the Butchery Manager at New World Hokitika, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our Butchery department. Your primary role will be to oversee the daily operations of the department, managing a team of butchers, and maintaining the highest standards of freshness and quality for our customers.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Ensuring standards of merchandising are achieved and maintained.
- The implementation of Food Health & Safety requirements.
- The effective utilisation of the department’s personnel resources
- Stock ordering to meet the stores requirements
- Monitoring Waste control.
- The achievement of sales, gross profit and wage budgets
- Meeting the Stores standards in Customer services.
- Inventory control and Handling
- Efficient, effective stock control while minimising out of stocks.

Overseas applicants must hold New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency or a Valid New Zealand Work Permit.
