**The Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Manager to lead, manage and oversee all operational aspects of our warehouse operations in our newly built state-of-the-art facility in Upper Hutt. As the manager, you will manage and oversee pick pack, dispatch, manage orders, manage drivers, and ensuring warehouse operations are smooth and quality/control is maintained. This is a hand-on role and includes several operational responsibilities, such as:
- Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
- Maintain and upkeep of fleet and facilities-including regular inspections and repairs.
- Manage, coach and develop a high performing team.
- Critical focus and ensuring compliance of Health and safety and Food Safety regulations.
- Manage warehouse workflow, streamline procedures and other tasks as and when required.
This position reports directly to the General Manager and is a full time, permanent role with an immediate start.
- Proven warehouse experience is mandatory.
- Proven management experience, in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in problem solving and conflict resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relationship focused (internal & external) and action orientated
- Hardworking, reliable with good work ethics.
- Ability to think, act fast and multitask.
- Remains calm under pressure and has a ‘Can-do attitude’.
- Computer knowledge
- MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
